Dr. Babak Babapour graduated from the Hannover Medical School in Germany in 1987. He completed his M.D. in 1993 and then trained in neurosurgery under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Majid Samii at the Medical School of Hannover.
At Hannover University, Dr. Babapour received bursaries and scholarships from Harvard University in the United States and the Medical School of Kobe University in Japan. He participated in and completed clinical research programs.
From 1997 to 2002, Dr. Babapour worked as a radiologist in the Neuro-Radiology Department of the Medical School of Hannover.
In 1998, he became a member of the Academic Board of Hannover University. Dr. Babapour completed his specialization in neurosurgery in 2001 and submitted his professorship thesis in pediatric neurosurgery in 2002.

Leader of MIS Surgery in Iran with approximately 500 annual general neurosurgical operations, out of which around 170 are MIS Surgeries. He is responsible for complex skull base surgeries and also provides assistance in special cases such as different brain tumors, Arteriovenous Malformations, and Aneurysms.
